I am in Knoxville for my Mom's birthday!!! Just Mia and I.
Way back at Christmastime, Albert had booked my ticket as a gift for me (and I must say, a six day break with only one baby is a HUGE gift!). So yesterday, after saying goodbye to my older babies and lots of hugs and kisses, Mia and I left for the airport! I flew into Nashville and my sister Katie picked me up and we drove to Knoxville, where we surprised my mom, who seriously, had no idea! It was really great. My sister Ashley has a baby who is very close in age to Mia (they are exactly six weeks apart). We met up with Ashley and her hubby Justin at the gas station just in front of Mom's house. We switched babies! Then, Ashley and Justin went to Mom's like normal and Katie and I hid outside down the street a bit, and we waited to see how long it would take Mom to notice Ashley had the wrong baby (we had called Justin's phone and he had it on speaker so we could hear what was going on in the house). After a few minutes, sure enough we heard mom yell "That's not your baby! That's Angela's baby!" It was a great surprise.
Today, mom is at work and I don't know what to do with myself. I JUST have Mia. The extra time is unbelievable. We've had breakfast, she's had a bath, gotten dressed. We've taken pictures of her in her cute Valentines day outfit, I've done homework, we've played, I've been on email and facebook, Mia has laid down for her nap, I've showered and straightened my hair...now I'm blogging and its not even noon! And I'm sitting in a clean house because mom keeps hers that way, unlike me! This is crazy!
But, I miss my little ones and the usual chaos of our days!
Waiting now for Ashley to come over so we can go to lunch. I LOVE my husband for this...

Have a great break away Ang!
Make the most of this! Hope you have a fantastic time! But then how could you not?
Still praying hard in Seattle!
Psalms 34:4, 6-7 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. (6-7) This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Continuing to pray!
Psalms 34:17-19 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Seriously...I'm so happy for you that I have tears in my eyes!!! That's AMAZING!
And such a great surprise for your mom! :)
The Lord is with you right now, lifting you up, giving you strength! Always praying!
Isaiah 40:28-31 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I'm here praying right now.
Psalms 116:1-5 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
