Mommy Confessions

Okay, so I might be the worst mom ever. At least today. Most parents wait and wait on the day their little ones is potty trained and they are rid of diapers forever- at least for that particular child. I, on the other hand, dread potty training. While I too, would love my children to be out of diapers, the actual days of training are what I fear. It's so tough for me to help one little one on the potty while dealing with Mia, and the other little ones. In short, its hard for me to find the time to potty train.
But Isaiah is ready. And ready he should be at three and a half years old. He keeps telling me "I need to potty" and I'm ashamed to admitt, I keep putting him off, telling him "next week, we'll potty trained." Well friends, I just walked into my mom's bathroom, to find Isaiah standing at the potty, pulling his wee-wee out of his diaper and going potty. Then, he simply tucked his wee wee back into the diaper and walked back out (no hand washing, gross.) I guess that's my cue. I might win the award for laziest mom of the year. For having a son who got so old that he potty trained himself because his mother refused to do it.

Updated to add that as I rushed out to blog about this moment, Bree took the opportunity to dump a whole roll of toilet tissue in the commode and stir it up...with her hand.
