Last night we went to church to see a play. It was the story of Mary and Joseph but portrayed in a modern day, alternative way. It was very nice and the kids behaved relatively well- Sydney had a couple of minor outbursts and of course there was the regular, expected shuffle o' chaos as all 11 of us struggled into seats (in the back row) and the usual two or three minutes of organizing big kids and little kids, spacing them carefully for optimal behavior outcomes. They all enjoyed the play and afterwards, their cousins came to spend the night. Brice and his cousin Josiah are a little bit...hmmm....of a handful together but they are fun to watch and listen to. Their little voices rise louder and louder as they speak back and forth, creating lots of volume and excitement. It's hilarious to hear them though. They are the same age- only 3 months apart and are so much alike.
In other news, the baby in my belly can finally be felt kicking up a storm. It's a very familiar feeling, one that I love and cherish. Actually one of the only aspects of pregnancy that I enjoy contrary to popular belief! It's nice to have the daily reassurance that baby noname is doing well and is healthy and active inside his/her dark, cozy swimming pool...waiting and growing until its time to be born. We are getting very excited around here!

Oh how I miss that feeling! The most amazing in the world!!!!!!!!!
Know that you're always in my thoughts and prayers!
Psalms 28:6-7 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications. The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

I miss that feeling too. There is nothing like it!
Praying hard in Seattle!
Psalms 46:1-5 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.

Continuing to pray!
Psalms 46:10-11 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.

On this Christmas Eve look to the only source of true hope, peace, and salvation! Praying!
Matthew 1:20-23 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
