This is it! The last weekend of football games for the boys. We are a bit sad, but also relieved. While the games are tons of fun and something our family really enjoys, they are also time consuming and eat up a goodly portion of our weekends. Not to mention the two to three practices each week. So we are looking forward to having our weekends back as well as not having to rush around throughout the week.
Of course, now basketball season is in progress and Emanuel starts for the 7th grade team- but that is a school sport and so he travels back and forth to games on the bus with his team and practices after school. Our only responsibility is getting him to and from school which is really simple. We attend as many games as possible (more so as football is now ending) but if we can't, its still okay because he travels with his team.
So we are saying good-bye to football season with mixed emotions. Emanuel, Brandon and Jackson all want to play again next year, so we are looking forward to that! We are so proud of our boys and of the wonderful lessons they've learned this year on their teams. GO LITTLE INDIANS!!!

Can imagine the mixed feelings about no more football...
Praying right now!
Psalm 121:5-8 The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

You are such a busy mama...have no clue where you get your energy....
Know that I'm here praying!
Isaiah 43:1-3a: But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour.
