Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Fouth of July. Ours was nice...pretty quiet but still nice. Albert had to work...he was so tempted to stay home...Fourth of July is his favorite holiday and he and the kids love the fireworks and barbecue that comes with it, but alas, he would have been giving up double time pay if he'd stayed home. So he went. That left the kids and I on our own. A teenage neighbor came over and hung out with us most of the day and that was nice. After the babies were in bed for the night the boys and I sat outside and did sparklers and snap dragons and the occasional smoke bomb... then we sat around and watched the town fireworks display from our backyard. Brice and Jackson went over to my friend Ora's to play with her kids and Jackson ended up staying overnight so he was thrilled.
Albert ended up working all day Saturday as well so its been a pretty dull weekend here. We are going to church later on tonight so that will be a bright spot. The kids love the church we attend, espicially Brandon, though he asked to sit with us this time during the service since we are attending the night sevice.
In really wonderful news, Albert's step-sister Courtney delivered a beautiful, healthy baby girl on the 4th. Her name is Naomi Charlotte. We have only seen picture mail pictures sent to Albert's phone so far so we are hoping to get some via email soon but she is just precious and both Mom and baby are doing well.

Aww! Congrats on the new baby!
I'm sorry Albert has had to work so much this weekend. It sounds like you had a great time with the kids though.
